Expedia-TSN Idents
We were pitched to create some dynamic motion graphics with Expedia's icons. The brief was to keep the animation dynamic and to reflect the sports they are depicting while utilising the existing client branding. Since the icons are pretty clean, we tried to make the transitions and animations a little more 3D to get a sense of depth. It was a good opportunity to soften our wrists and we did not miss this opportunity!
Icons
We worked on the clients icons which are a part of the branding. Animating these icons to explain the brands 360 services was quite fun and the result was pretty energetic. Since the designs were flat we tried to give bit more 3D depth and morph animations to make it a bit more interesting.
The design were locked and approved by the client and supplied to us by the agency. The client's main concern was the designs would look flat in the animations. We placed the icons and all the background shapes in 3D depths to solve this perception. This helped us to strengthen the travel feeling in the transitions and layers. Our approach was very challenging and hard to achieve. But we are pretty happy with the result.
